Description A Direct Support Professional, DSP, supports individuals with developmental and physical disabilities to live a quality life. To promote health, safety, and well being of individuals. A Direct Support Professional serves as an advocate for individuals in communicating their needs and achieve their goals. We are looking for staffing during after-school hours about 10 hours per week! Requirements Great people skills! Organizational skills, time management skills, good written and verbal communication skills, multi-tasking skills, critical thinking, active listening, reading comprehension, teamwork, interpretation, problem solving, teaching, innovating and strategizing. You may need to lift and support individuals with hygiene needs. This job includes meal preparation and very light housekeeping. High school diploma or equivalent. Drivers license, updated vehicle insurance and registration. CPR certification (we offer certification if you do not have it). Negative TB test within 60 days of hire.
