Direct Support Professional / Personal Attendant for Developmental Disabilities - Burbank/Glendale EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION * Locations: Burbank, Glendale, & surrounding areas * Full & Part-Time: $20 / hour * Mileage reimbursement * $10/month cell phone stipend * Flexible shifts ranging from morning, evening, and overnight shifts BENEFITS * Health care benefits and PTO available if you transition to full time employment * Discounts on Pet Insurance * Cal-Savers retirement plan YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * Support participants with daily living skills such as cleaning, cooking, and budgeting * Encourage and model independence, hobbies, and social activities * Assist participants access and participate in community activities * Assist with personal care such as medication support, hygiene and bathing (lifting / transferring may be required) * Collaborate and follow Person-Centered Care planning with participant * Record keep progress of care plan WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR * Someone who is compassionate with a person-centered mindset * Someone who has a warm, respectful, and professional presence * Someone who is capable of communication with dignity and respect, especially during challenging moments * A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation * Responsible, and can assist in goal progress tracking * CPR / First Aid certification (Training will be provided if you’re not certified or need to be recertified) * Weekend Availability (Is a plus but not required) ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT COMMUNITY INTEGRATION AND MAKING A MEANINGFUL DAILY IMPACT?
