Grocery shopping and meal preparation Planning outings and activities in community. Perform housekeeping and laundry duties, including cleaning, organizing, maintaining a safe and tidy living environment, and washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothes and linens. Setting goals and learning new skills and hobbies Assist in developing positive behavior supports by providing feedback about individual's preferences Participate in the formulation and implementation of individual treatment plans including data collection, report-writing participation in treatment team meeting and carrying out treatment team recommendations Provide Lift and Transfer assistance (may include non-ambulatory individuals) requiring ability to carry and maneuver up to 50 or more pounds of unbalanced weight Building healthy habits and relationships Supporting positive behavior and boundaries Maintaining well-being and safety by following plans and reporting guidelines Qualifications Be 18+ years or older 1 year of caregiving experience (preferred) Good communication is key in this role. You’ll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
