Salary & Benefits:  $3500 Sign-On Bonus for New Hires! (paid in 2 installments at 3 months and 6 months with successful completion of Orientation) $1500 Referral Bonus for Current Staff! $20.40 an hour or $21.42 with MAP Certification Comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage. Paid vacation, holidays and sick time.  401k with employer matching, supervision, training, advancement opportunities and many more Schedule:  Monday-Friday 9am-3pm (30 hr/week)  Essential Functions: * Actively Advocate for individuals served demonstrating the Agency’s values and mission in all interactions   * Leveraging your knowledge and interests in the community to empower individuals and enhance their quality of life * Implement Individual Service Plans * Assist individuals with Activities of Daily living, including household tasks and chores * Assist individuals with appointments, including driving the Agency’s van * Present in a respectful and professional manner in all interaction * Attend all trainings and implement knowledge throughout your work * Communicate in an effective manner whether orally or written  Qualifications: * Highschool diploma or GED * Active and valid driver’s license * Ability to pass background checks * Ability to lift to 50lbs and sustained periods of sitting or standing * Ability to assist in a restraint if needed * Experience in substance abuse or mental health preferred The Arc is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in its selection and employment practices.
