This would require picking Matthew up at his home in the morning and transporting him to a variety of locations and scheduled activities throughout the day, returning home in the afternoon. Matthew enjoys activities such as walking on local trails, horseback riding, swimming, and exercising at the YMCA, visiting animal farms, visiting local libraries, and making small purchases in the community. Matthew is able to walk, feed self and use bathroom with minimal assistance. Matthew is unable to follow safety rules, prepare food, hygiene care, read/write Matthew is mostly happy and loving but can be impulsive or angry when tired, hungry, or over stimulated Available Shift: Full Time Day Shift Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:00 pm (37.50 hours per week) PAY: $18-$20/hr. Ability to work together with client to complete organizational tasks Ability to carry out individual service goals and communication goals Keep organized documentation of services Requirements, Education, and Experience: Valid Driver's License Access to reliable transportation Auto Insurance policy with minimum policy coverage - $100,000/$300,000 High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of one year working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred Must be at least 18 years old.
