As a DSP, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting their independence, and enhancing their participation in community life. Responsibilities Assist individuals with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks. Support clients in achieving their goals and developing new skills. Encourage social and community involvement. Document and report changes in client behavior or health. Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment. Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals as needed. High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient, and understanding attitude. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends. CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Flexible Schedule.
