Creed Medical is excited to announce an opening for the position of Direct Support Professional (DSP). In this essential role, you will provide compassionate and individualized support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting them in achieving greater independence and enhancing their quality of life. As a DSP, you will support clients with daily living activities, facilitate community involvement, and promote personal growth. Your contributions will create a positive impact on the lives of those you care for. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the community. Key Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks, including grooming, dressing, and meal preparation. Encourage and facilitate participation in social and community activities. Support clients in developing life skills and achieving their individual goals. Maintain clear and accurate documentation of client progress and any incidents. Ensure a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures. Collaborate with team members and family members to optimize care strategies. High school diploma or GED required; experience in direct support or a related field preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy and patience when working with individuals with disabilities. Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. CPR and First Aid certification preferred or must be obtained upon hire. Flexible Schedule.
