We are currently seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve. As a DSP, you will provide essential assistance with daily activities, help individuals achieve their personal goals, and foster a positive and inclusive community environment. Key Responsibilities Support individuals in daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household activities. Encourage social interactions and participation in community activities to enhance individual well-being. Implement and follow individualized support plans aimed at promoting independence and self-advocacy. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and track progress in achieving personal goals. Create and maintain a safe and nurturing environment for individuals at all times. Collaborate with family members and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support. High school diploma or GED required; certification in Human Services or related field is preferred. Experience in direct support or caregiving roles is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving. Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of care. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation for community activities. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or must be obtained after employment. Flexible Schedule.
