In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting them in achieving personal goals and improving their quality of life. The DSP will help with daily living activities, promote independence, and encourage community involvement. This position is ideal for those who are committed to making a positive impact and fostering a supportive and empowering environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, and daily living tasks. Support individuals in developing life skills and achieving their personal goals. Foster community integration through social and recreational activities. Document care and progress, reporting any changes to the appropriate team members. Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times. Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in direct support, caregiving, or related field preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain after hire. Flexible Schedule.
