Creed Medical is seeking passionate and reliable individuals for the position of Direct Support Professional (DSP). In this impactful role, you will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing assistance in their daily lives, enabling them to gain independence and improve their quality of life. As a DSP, your responsibilities will include helping with personal care tasks, assisting with meal preparation, facilitating community engagement, and promoting social interactions. Key Responsibilities Support individuals with daily living tasks including personal grooming, bathing, and meal planning. Encourage and participate in social activities and community events to enhance individuals' social connections. Monitor and document client progress in accordance with their individualized support plans. Provide companionship and emotional support to foster trust and rapport. Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. Collaborate with families and other team members to address the needs of each individual. High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a related field is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and their families. Empathy and patience when working with individuals of varying abilities and needs. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for work-related travel. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as necessary. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus, with a willingness to obtain if not currently certified.
