DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

Service Location: Baltimore, MD 21229
We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals.

In this position, you will assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with learning independent living, vocational, and community engagement skills. Your duties will include:

• Prevocational skills training and supports
• Job coaching supports
• Valid driver’s license
• Independent living skills training and supports
• Companionship and supervision
• Teaching and modeling socialization skills
• Establishing community connections and relationships
• Developing and implementing a weekly schedule of preferred activities
• Supports during communitybased appointments, events, and outings
• Recordkeeping using electronic time management software and an electronic health record system

Preferred experience include Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medication Technician (CMT), Residential Counselor, Vocational or Job Coach, Employment Specialist, Behavior Technician, Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Pharmacy Technician, Home Health Aide, Child Care Attendant or Personal Care Attendant
