Description Parc is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP 1) to join our team at Burkett Villa. In this role, you will provide care and support to residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a safe and respectful environment. Responsibilities include: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, and other personal care needs. Supporting residents in daily living skills, leisure activities, and social interactions. Implementing skill-building and behavior support programs. Accompanying and transporting residents to medical appointments and community outings. Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment. Documenting services and resident progress in compliance with Parc and State guidelines. Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred. CNA license or Med Tech certification a plus. Must meet APD training requirements and be able to obtain and maintain a Parc Driver’s License. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and actively support the physical and social needs of residents.
