Setting goals and learning new skills and hobbies Assist in developing positive behavior supports by providing feedback about individual's preferences Participate in the formulation and implementation of individual treatment plans including data collection, report-writing participation in treatment team meeting and carrying out treatment team recommendations Provide Lift and Transfer assistance (may include non-ambulatory individuals) requiring ability to carry and maneuver up to 50 or more pounds of unbalanced weight Building healthy habits and relationships Supporting positive behavior and boundaries Maintaining well-being and safety by following plans and reporting guidelines Qualifications 6 months of experience working with people who have developmental disabilities Experience using de-escalation techniques (preferred) Willing to be actively engaged and creative with ideas for outings and engagement in the home Experience working as RBT or paraeducator (preferred) Excellent written and verbal English language skills 18+ years or older Preferred NAR, HCA, Nurse Delegation, CNA, NAC Additional Information At Dungarvin, diversity and inclusion are a part of what makes our organization strong.
