Enrich and support the lives of our residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care. Assist with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating. Prepare meals and snacks. Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties. Provide mobility and transfer assistance, which may include using mechanical lift devices. Implement positive behavior supports and de-escalate challenging behaviors when needed. Qualifications What Makes You a Great Fit: Previous experience supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities Must have a valid driver's license. Driving is an essential job duty for current shift openings. Must be at least 18 years old Must be able to provide references Able to attend two weeks of PAID in-house orientation and training Have a passion to help others People-oriented and have a team approach Dependable, adaptable, flexible Good communication is key in this role. You’ll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
