Brief Summary of Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Personal Care:
Teach, supervise, and direct individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily living activities.
Assist with feeding, clothing, toileting, and other hygiene needs.
Assist in providing self-care training in areas such as cooking, housekeeping, lifting, or hygienic practices.
Administer medications as ordered and document the delivery of each.
Transport individuals in a personal vehicle on scheduled outings and activities to promote community inclusion.
Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Personal Care Requirements:
Valid OH Driver’s License & Auto Insurance (for DSP 2, Floater & PRN)
HS Diploma or GED
Reliable Transportation (for DSP 2, Floater & PRN)
CPR / 1st Aid / Med Admin / AED

MUST HAVE NO LESS THAN 2 YEARS OF DSP EXPERIENCE

• Pay Rate $19.50 per hour
• Goodwill Columbus’ Headquarters are located at 671 South High Street, Columbus, Ohio, south of the downtown area, however, the locations for the roles are throughout Columbus Ohio, North, South, East, and West. We have full and part-time positions. Weekends and PRN.
  Non-profit employer; experience qualifies for public service student loan forgiveness.
