    Support Services of Virginia is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide support to people with developmental disabilities in Lynchburg. This role is ideal for individuals who are friendly, positive, open-minded, flexible, community-oriented, and enjoy staying active. As a Direct Support Professional, you will assist individuals in balancing what is important to them and what is important for them, helping them live meaningful lives of their choosing. At Support Services of Virginia, we are dedicated to mentoring and supporting our team members as they work toward their personal and professional goals. We provide 24-hour services and are hiring for day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Direct Support Professionals are expected to work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month as part of their regular schedule. Regardless of the shift, your work will have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of those you support. Virtual training and interviews via Zoom will be provided. Compensation: A Direct Support Professional just starting will make $13.50 per hour, however once you are trained and cleared to assist with medications you have the potential to make $14.00 per hour. All certifications will need to be verified.
