REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a DSP or in a similar care role supporting individuals with I/DD, behavioral needs, or mental health conditions.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a team effectively.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Reliable, patient, and compassionate demeanor with the resilience to handle behavioral challenges.
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in human services preferred).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Current CPR/First Aid certification.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with mobility, personal care, and safety interventions when required.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Zuriel LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential home for adult men with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, and mental health needs. This role requires a leader who can balance hands-on caregiving with administrative oversight, ensuring the home is safe, supportive, and empowering for the individuals we serve.
Overnight Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM (Monday–Friday)
Weekend Shift: Every other Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise and mentor a team of Direct Support Professionals, providing leadership, coaching, and training to maintain high-quality care.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized support plans tailored to each resident’s needs, strengths, and goals.
Support residents with daily living skills, personal care, and community engagement to encourage independence.
Monitor and address residents’ physical, emotional, and behavioral needs, making proactive adjustments to support plans.
Maintain a structured, safe, and respectful environment that promotes dignity and positive behavior.
Manage documentation, medical records, and compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Collaborate with families, case managers, and external providers to ensure continuity of care.
Oversee scheduling, shift coverage, and other administrative duties.
