Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) Opportunities Available in Easton, MA! Schedule: Saturday 8:00AM - 4:00PM + 4:00PM - 10:00PM & Sunday 8:00AM - 4:00PM **$1,000.00 Sign-on Bonus!! Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) help provide supervision and support to clients in our residential group home setting. We offer ongoing education, experiences and a supportive staff that emphasizes the individual's role in making choices to give them greater control of the direction of their life. You can be a part of a making a positive impact on their lives each day you come to work. You would provide hands-on, person-centered individualized care and support for our residents. DSPs/Residential Behavior Specialists work with a supportive team that includes the Residential Manager and others to support four residents in our home. Equivalent * Must be able to read, write, and speak in English proficiently * Ability to speak, see & hear clearly/audibly, as well as write legibly for documentation * Basic computer skills * Professional and respectful communication skills with clients and their families or other parties * Ability to intervene with clients when needed to implement behavioral inventions including physical restraint, lifting and transporting in personal vehicle or company van * General responsibilities as assigned such as house cleaning, assistance with toileting/showering, job coaching, role modeling, etc. * Ability to sit, stand, lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend, reach and/or move regularly * Valid driver's license for at least 3 years, with a registered and insured vehicle * First Aid/CPR Certification (We provide training if needed) * MAP Certification for medication administration (We provide training if needed) * Safety Care Certification (We provide training if needed) Advancement Opportunities: * Extensive new employee orientation * Initial and ongoing "in-house" training in a wide array of topic areas * Access to professional trainings offered throughout the year * Behavior Management training * Opportunities to pick up extra shifts * Growth opportunities!
