EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION * Location: Antelope Valley & Surrounding Areas * Part-Time: $21 / hour * Mileage reimbursement * $10/month cell phone stipend * Weekend Shifts Only: Saturday & Sunday, Mornings, Afternoons, & Evenings BENEFITS * Health care benefits and PTO available if you transition to full time employment * Discounts on Pet Insurance  * Cal-Savers retirement plan YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES  * Support participants with daily living skills such as cleaning, cooking, budget management, and light household duties * Following care plans and helping participants achieve their personal goals * Encourage healthy habits, studies, hobbies, and social activities * Communicate with participant using American Sign Language * Assist participants access and participate in community activities * Assist with personal care such as medication support, hygiene and bathing (lifting / transferring may be required)  * Collaborate Person-Centered Care planning with participant, staff and management * Document and communicate participant progress with staff and management WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR * Someone who is compassionate with a person-centered mindset * Someone who has a warm, respectful, and professional demeanor * Someone who is capable of communication with dignity and respect, especially during challenging moments * A valid driver’s license * Responsible, and can document goal progress tracking with detail * National Interpreter Certification (NIC) or Certified Deaf Interpreter (CID) certified (Applicant will be required to show proof of certification) * DSP 1 & 2 certification (preferred, applicants who are not yet certified can take advantage of our internal certification programs) * CPR / First Aid certification (Training will be provided if applicants are not certified or need to be recertified)  * Weekend Availability (Is a plus but not required) ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT COMMUNITY INTEGRATION AND MAKING A MEANINGFUL DAILY IMPACT?
