We believe consistency, structure, and relationships are essential to healing—and we support staff doing this important work. Responsibilities Provide constant visual and auditory supervision of students Support daily routines, transitions, and unit structure Respond to student behavior using Stetson School policy and CPI principles Use least-restrictive therapeutic interventions when required Model respectful communication, healthy boundaries, and pro-social behavior Lead or support recreational, social, and skill-based activities Assist with student visits, phone calls, and family contact Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment Complete all required documentation and incident reporting each shift Transport students to appointments and activities as assigned Qualifications High school diploma, GED, HiSET, or equivalent required Valid driver’s license (Class C or D) required 0–3 years of related experience (human services, internships, or volunteer work accepted) Ability to maintain consistent attendance and work mandated shifts Willingness to obtain and maintain CPR, CPI, and First Aid certifications

Residential Counselors are responsible for providing constant visual and auditory supervision of students while supporting daily routines, transitions, and the unit structure.
