Overview Direct Support Professional (DSP)Seven Hills Pediatric Center, an Affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation Position Summary:Provide direct support to individuals served, assisting with personal care activities, fostering independence, and contributing to their overall well-being in a safe and engaging environment. Support community engagement and facilitate participation in activities outside the facility. Administer medications, follow care plans, and accompany individuals to appointments. Maintain a safe, supportive environment and promote well-being with individualized care. Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement treatment plans and strategies. Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Qualifications Education: High school diploma/GED/HiSET required. Certification: Standard driver’s license (Class C or D); Completion of healthcare training or competency evaluation program preferred. Experience: 1–3 years of related experience preferred. Skills: Activity planning and recreational skills. Health and safety protocols to ensure participant well-being. Assistance with daily living activities such as personal hygiene and mobility. Team collaboration and strong communication skills. Basic first aid knowledge and the ability to address minor emergencies.
