As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a vital role in supporting adults with IDD to live fulfilling lives at home and in their communities. Experience is welcomed but not required. Full training is provided. In this role, you will: Provide daily living assistance with tasks like dressing, meal preparation, and personal hygiene. Provide transportation to appointments and community outings. Encourage participation in social activities and hobbies. Help individuals develop life skills and achieve their goals. Qualifications Qualifications A patient, caring, and positive attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to build rapport and trust with individuals with IDD. A willingness to learn and adapt to individual needs. Valid state issued driver’s license, current vehicle insurance declaration and vehicle registration. A high school diploma or equivalent. The ability to pass comprehensive background checks per state and company regulations/policies
