  Fulltime - Monday  - Friday 8:00 am -3:00 pm Location  TBD  within 30 minutes of CCARC  Benefits : Medical , Dental, Voluntary Life, 401K Paid for by CCARC : Basic Life, LTD , Vision, 401K match eligibility,  Training  Pay Rate: $19.38 per hour  Employee must have a valid drivers license / High school diploma or GED  Primary Purpose:   As the Direct Support Professional in this position, you will be responsible for providing direct care in a manufacturing employment setting. Job coaching will be conducted off-site at area manufacturing companies within a 30-minute driving range from CCARC in Berlin to the Manufacturing Internship Company. As a job coach, you will be responsible for training, supervising, and supporting individuals at their internship sites.              Essential Functions:    * Adhere to both CCARC and the manufacturing sites, dress code and personnel policies, and any vaccination requirements that may be required. *  Attentive to the safety of all individuals; ensure the proper use of equipment. * Provide job development support for individuals receiving services, including resume writing, interview support, and completing job applications. * Maintain accurate and comprehensive data collection, including but not limited to daily collection, reports, and attendance. * Attend, participate in, and provide reports and information for Individual Plan (IP) meetings or any other meetings related to the site(s). * Act as a primary liaison between any employment site/manufacturing site and CCARC, promoting the individuals’ inclusion at the site(s) develop and maintaining all pertinent records related to the site(s), and providing training to the business to increase natural support for the hired individual. * Ensure all information is updated in Therap for individuals on caseload. * Maintain regular contact and communication with the manager/designee regarding individual and staff issues, concerns, and updates. * Serve as a mentor/role model to all individuals and reinforce best practices. * As appropriate, assist the team in outreach, networking and job development. * Complete all other tasks assigned by the Manager or Director of the Department * Attend program-based training, in-services, and communities of practice, as appropriate.     Other Related Responsibilities:  * Maintain good daily attendance (days of absence, illness). * Cooperative, versatile, and work as a team member. * Ability to work responsibly when working alone. * Maintain all annual training/certifications   The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work.   Other tasks and duties may be assigned as necessary.   Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:  *  High School Diploma/GED * Minimum of 1 year experience working with individuals with disabilities. * Must have a valid driver’s license and be insured by an agency carrier. * Must have your own vehicle or reliable transportation  * Must complete the Agency’s Employee Training. * Ability to follow both oral and written instructions. * Experience with Microsoft products, use of email, and Therap preferred.     Physical Requirements:  Persons in this job must possess the physical and emotional health needed for effective and efficient completion of duties. Must be able to walk, stand, or be seated for more than 4 hours at a time, stoop, twist, and/or bend at the waist, lift above the head, and lift more than 50 lbs. when necessary. Must safely work indoors and/or in hot, cold, and slippery conditions.   (See Physical Demands Page)
