Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Part-Time Overnight Location: Barnegat, NJ Pay Rate: $19.16–$20.16 wknd/hour Schedule * Thursday - Saturday 11pm-9am Job Overview Advancing Opportunities, an affiliate of Apis Services, is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as Part-Time Overnight Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at our Barnegat group home supporting individuals with disabilities. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live meaningful, independent lives while ensuring their safety and well-being during evening hours. Our Mission To achieve full societal participation for all people with disabilities. Responsibilities Direct Support Professionals provide hands-on support, guidance, and encouragement to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. Responsibilities include assisting and teaching skills related to: * Daily living (cooking, housekeeping, hygiene) * Health and wellness (medication support, healthy living) * Community involvement (shopping, recreation, transportation) * Social development (communication, coping skills, friendships) * Budgeting and money management * Promoting independence, dignity, and choice You’ll make a meaningful difference by helping individuals build confidence, life skills, and autonomy.
