Description SUMMARY: Assist individuals with developmental disabilities with skill acquisition, retention, or improvement in self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills. Assists in the development and attainment of life goals. Provides support and services to individuals to attain independence, productivity, and integration. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides individualized care as outlined in the service plan. Prepares documentation and submits reports as required, including accurate and legible time sheets and travel documents for timely billing and reimbursement. Attends all established or assigned meeting and trainings. (To begin the job, a 3 day orientation is necessary.) Provides First Aid/CPR as requested by the participant. Provides safe transport as requested by the participant. Maintains confidentiality of person served. Acts in accordance with policies, procedures, and the Agency Corporate Compliance Policy. Reports suspected or actual violations thereof to the appropriate party. Maintains professional decorum at all times.
