We are currently hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team in the Lewiston/Auburn area. Position Summary The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides person-centered, hands-on support to individuals receiving Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) under MaineCare waiver programs. Requirements Required Qualifications (Maine HCBS) High school diploma or equivalent Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to pass Maine DHHS-required background checks Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (if transporting individuals) Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as required Ability to complete required Maine HCBS trainings within designated timeframes Preferred Qualifications Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities Knowledge of person-centered planning and HCBS Settings Rule CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Medication Administration certification (or willingness to obtain) Familiarity with Maine waiver services and documentation standards Current DSP certification or ability to attain certification within 90 days of employment Benefits Paid time off Health insurance Vision/Dental insurance Paid training Life insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Pay range $16.25 - $19.00/hr depending on experience and certifications.
