What you’ll be doing As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Options For All, you’ll play a vital role in helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) achieve independence and thrive in their communities. Empower: Your work will directly help clients achieve milestones, build confidence and enjoy fulfilling, independent lives. Advocate: Champion the dignity and rights of individuals with disabilities by fostering inclusion and respect. Collaborate: Work alongside a passionate group of professionals dedicated to making a positive difference in clients’ lives. Creating experiences: Plan fun, engaging activities tailored to each client’s goals. Make Connections: Build relationships with clients, families, caregivers, and community partners. What we’re looking for Passion: A desire to empower individuals with I/DD and make a real impact. Team Player: Someone who works well with others, takes initiative, and adapts to new situations. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must pass a background check. Experience: Previous experience in caregiving, social work, life skills coaching, as a teaching assistant or volunteering is a plus but not required. Skills: Empathy, patience, and the ability to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit. Adaptability to address individual’s needs with care and flexibility.
