COMPÉTENCES ET QUALIFICATIONS RECHERCHÉES

  • Minimum de 7 à 10 ans d’expérience en maintenance industrielle, dont au moins 5 ans en rôle de supervision ou gestion.
  • Diplôme d’études professionnelles (DEP) ou collégiales (DEC) en mécanique industrielle, électromécanique, ou domaine connexe.
  • Expérience démontrée en gestion d’équipe et en planification de maintenance.
  • Bonne connaissance des systèmes de maintenance préventive (PEP ou équivalent).
  • Connaissance de la soudure, électricité et PLC (un atout).
  • Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office et des logiciels de gestion de maintenance.
  • Solides aptitudes en organisation, communication et leadership.
  • Capacité à travailler sous pression, à gérer plusieurs priorités et à s’adapter rapidement aux imprévus.

ABOUT RAY-MONT LOGISTIQUES

Ray-Mont Logistiques is a dynamic organization aiming to be the essential link in the international logistics chain. We offer a range of operational services such as transshipment, transportation, and product warehousing.
We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent Maintenance Director to join our Montréal team. The Maintenance Director is responsible for planning, supervising, and optimizing all maintenance operations to ensure the reliability and availability of our equipment.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with availability for emergencies, weekends, or overtime as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Vocational (DEP) or college (DEC) diploma in industrial mechanics, electromechanics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in team management and maintenance planning.
  • Good knowledge of preventive maintenance systems (PEP or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of welding, electricity, and PLCs (an asset).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management software.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt quickly to unforeseen events.
Responsibilities

Equipment Optimization

  • Maximize equipment availability (e.g., trucks, chassis, container machines, production lines) and reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Implement and monitor preventive maintenance plans.

Cost Management

  • Optimize maintenance budgets while ensuring facility reliability.
  • Identify and implement initiatives to reduce operational costs.

Project Management

  • Supervise and coordinate improvement projects related to maintenance operations.
  • Implement a new maintenance program (inspection, preventive maintenance, order tracking, parts, etc.)

Inventory and Spare Parts Management

  • Ensure optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or surpluses.
  • Establish efficient spare parts management systems.

Team Management

  • Supervise, train, and develop a competent maintenance team.
  • Promote a positive, safe, and motivating work environment.

Health and Safety

  • Ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards in all maintenance activities.

Administrative Follow-up and Reporting

  • Keep documentation related to maintenance activities up to date.
  • Produce regular reports on performance and key indicators (KPIs).
