POSITION OVERVIEW

A world-class MMA gym and event/competition center is set to open in downtown Montreal in November 2026. Known globally for the excellence of its coaches and the reputation of its athletes, this new facility is now recruiting for a key leadership role.
We’re looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual who believes in improving lives through health, sport, and martial arts. Industry experience will be considered, as well as strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, self-driven work ethic.

MEMBERSHIP & SALES MANAGEMENT

• Promote gym memberships and personal training packages.
• Achieve monthly sales goals.
• Manage all subscription and cancellation procedures in line with company policy.
• Staff Supervision & Operations
• Create and manage staff schedules for optimal coverage.
• Lead, motivate, and train team members.
• Ensure a positive and service-oriented work environment
• Customer Service & Communication
• Respond promptly to inquiries (in person, by phone, email, and social media).
• Provide a warm welcome and personalized assistance to members.
• Resolve issues and concerns with professionalism and care.
• Facility Maintenance
• Oversee upkeep of equipment and cleanliness of the training areas.
• Monitor and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Monitor and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Manage cash handling and inventory tracking.
• Marketing & Social Media
• Participate in promotional campaigns (online and in person).
• Assist with planning and running local marketing events.
• Meetings & Ongoing Training
• Attend mandatory team meetings and training sessions.

• Qualifications
• 3–5 years experience in management, sales, or customer service industry
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for martial arts, MMA, or high-performance training
• Bilingual (French & English) strongly preferred
