REQUIREMENTS

  • Employment type: Permanent, full-time | Hybrid mode (remote and on-site)
  • Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, daytime
  • University Bachelor Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales
  • Team management experience
  • Advanced bilingualism (French and English), both oral and written, is mandatory given the scope of our organization
  • Frequent business travel across different territories
  • Expertise in business development and customer service

Responsibilities

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Vice President of Fuel Sales, the Sales Director will be responsible for supervising and managing the Jet fuel and aviation Services Sales Team and maintaining relationships with our key clients. Travel within the company’s service territories will be required to provide support to clients and sales representatives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Maintain existing relationships with partners and current clients
  • Develop and manage sales and operating expense budgets
  • Ensure knowledge transfer rapidly, with the current Sales Executives, regarding fuel sales and Ground handling services.
  • Analyze monthly sales reports, pricing indicators, and profitability
  • Implement performance indicators and oversee the creation of tools to monitor them
  • Work closely with the VP Operations on business plan development, contract management, marketing strategy, tenders, and other strategic projects
  • Plan, supervise, and coordinate the work of sales representatives
  • Identify Business growth opportunities and follow-up on sales objectives to enhance marketing of our services to clients
  • Negotiate rates with clients and validate vendor contracts
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships with clients
  • Participate in various strategic and management committees
  • Represent the company at external industry conferences
  • Visit sites regularly for both planned and unplanned follow-ups
  • Perform any other related duties
