Description Job Summary: We are looking for directional drill members to join our team! Working for the directional drilling department, you would be responsible for helping assist the foreman and team with installing and replacing underground utilities. KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES · Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in a utility installation work environment that requires the use of basic hand tools. These tasks include but are not limited to: o Drill pilot, ream and pull product o Mix drilling mud o Assist locating utilities o Assist crew from beginning to end of a project (transport to job and to restoration) · Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed · Driving various vehicles to job sites Compensation: Compensation follows the scale rate of the associated union. Requirements Requirements: · Chauffeur’s License (CDL preferred) · Satisfactory driving record (MVR check will be conducted prior to hire) · Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screens in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations · Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening · Ability to be a team player · Dedicated, hard-working and goal focused · Willing to work overtime and weekends, and work in all weather conditions · Ability to lift, squat, and stand for long periods of time
Responsibilities
Team members will assist the foreman and crew with installing and replacing underground utilities by performing strenuous manual labor tasks such as drilling, reaming, pulling product, and mixing drilling mud. Responsibilities also include ensuring safety procedures are followed and driving various vehicles to job sites.
