A company that will begin operations in the Grecia Free Trade Zone is seeking its Head of Human Resources. This role is both strategic and operational: you are not coming to manage what already exists, you are coming to build, define culture, attract key talent, and align people with a high-standard global vision. Profile We Are Looking For 8+ years of experience in strategic and operational HR leadership. 3+ years in senior HR management or leadership positions. Experience in manufacturing or regulated industries (medical devices, pharma, automotive). Experience in start-up operations or “greenfield” environments (highly valued). Strong knowledge of Costa Rican labor legislation. Ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Fluent command of English is indispensable. Key Responsibilities Lead the full HR function: talent planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance, development, and succession. Design professional growth, leadership, and continuous training programs. Manage labor relations, employee well-being, and internal communication. Define compensation and benefits strategies aligned with local benchmarks and global guidelines. Ensure legal, ethical, and regulatory compliance. Implement HRIS systems, processes, and analytics to support decision-making. Build and lead the local HR team. Manage the department’s budget and optimize resources.
