MAX PAY – DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE:

$104,000.00 USD Annual

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field including two (2) years managerial experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

In collaboration with the Associate Dean of the Academic Enterprise, The Director of Academic Enterprise plays a vital leadership role within Edson College, supporting the Associate Dean of the Academic Enterprise by managing curricular actions, curriculum development, academic planning, assessment, and accreditation processes. The Director ensures alignment with university standards and supports strategic initiatives that enhance program effectiveness, student outcomes, and institutional compliance.
Salary: $78,000 - $104,000 per year; DOE

Responsibilities

Curriculum and Academic Action Oversight

  • Manage and support day-to-day and cyclical curricular operations through the Kuali Curriculum Management System.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop new courses/programs, monitor curriculum changes, and maintain accurate course records.
  • Facilitate Academic Catalog, Degree Search, and General Studies updates.
  • Serve as the Edson liaison to the University Office of Evaluation and Educational Effectiveness (UOEEE).

Assessment and Accreditation

  • Lead annual academic assessment planning and reporting in collaboration with the Associate Dean and Program Directors
  • Coordinate and submit Academic Program Reviews (every 7 years).
  • Compile and analyze course evaluation data for curriculum review, accreditation, and faculty promotion.

Strategic and Operational Planning

  • Support college-wide strategic initiatives related to academic offerings, organizational structure, and program growth.
  • Participate in Edson College planning processes including the Annual Academic Plan.
  • Interpret and use faculty and student data from university dashboards to inform decisions.

Administrative and Communication Functions

  • Manage the Associate Dean’s calendar
  • Represent the Associate Dean in various communications.
  • Coordinate with internal and university stakeholders on academic matters.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders for strategic priorities
  • Oversee submission processes, approval tracking, and compliance with curriculum-related policies.

Leadership and Supervision

  • Supervise and support curriculum/academic staff as requested
  • Maintain college resources and documentation to support the Edson College, Associate and Assistant Deans, Program Directors, and faculty.
  • Assess operations to recommend and implement efficiency improvements.
  • This position is integral to ensure Edson College maintains academic integrity, meets university and accreditation standards, and advances strategic goals in education and curriculum innovation.
