WE’RE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE:

• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation required, FSA designation advantageous.
• 7+ years of actuarial experience in an insurance company, consulting, or software company setting.
• 2+ years’ experience in actuarial modeling design and development
• 2+ years of Prophet Professional model development strongly preferred; familiarity with the US 360 and/or ALS libraries advantageous.
• Significant product knowledge to understand modeling requirements for Life or Annuity products.
• Strong project management skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Conceptual and analytical skills to develop solutions to complex problems.
• Sound business judgment skills (decision-making and problem solving)

• Design and implement Prophet annuity modeling solutions by utilizing product knowledge, studying existing models, and analyzing business requirements.
• Delegate tasks to, organize, mentor, and motivate a team of talented model developers.
• Provide training, modeling guidance and best practices to modeling team.
• Foster a culture of continuous feedback and improvement.
• Work with the Leader of VA & Shield Modeling to plan and execute projects.
• Review model development deliverables regularly
• Implement and test new software releases, library updates, new products, product enhancements, and new regulatory requirements in Prophet.
• Maintain relationships with software vendors, consultants, and internal annuity modeling clients.
• Direct partners across IT and finance in model automation and testing
