Our purpose – the essence of SFU – is to create and connect knowledge, learning and community for deeper understanding and meaningful impact. We are committed to fostering excellence, innovation, belonging and community in all that we do.

Responsibilities

The Director, Advancement Faculty of Applied Sciences leads and establishes SFU’s advancement engagement strategies and program growth, focusing on strengthening SFU’s relationships with its philanthropic community. This role supports SFU’s mission by enhancing philanthropic connections, promoting SFU’s brand, and advancing goals in fundraising. Through strategic planning and program development, this position establishes impactful and targeted initiatives that build long-term connections with donors and prospects as advocates and supporters of SFU’s mission.
