Take Your Career to New Heights with Flair Airlines We’re here to make air travel affordable for everyone, and we’re looking for talented individuals who want to help us continue changing the industry for the better. As Canada’s most reliable airline, we're all about offering real value. As we continue to expand our network, increase flight frequencies, and introduce more services, we’re looking for passionate team members to help us in our mission to make air travel accessible for everyone. We know who we are, and we’re confident in our approach—but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.  Your Team: Join Flair’s Commercial team, where strategic partnerships and distribution growth support revenue performance across the network. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Director, Agency Sales and Partnerships is responsible for leading the development and execution of Flair’s national travel trade strategy, with a focus on expanding distribution through the travel agency channel. This role is accountable for driving air-only revenue growth by increasing market penetration across agency networks and leveraging distribution platforms such as Sirev. The Director, Agency Sales and Partnerships, leads the agency sales function, builds strategic relationships with key leisure agency networks, and develops commission and incentive programs that support commercial growth. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, the role strengthens Flair’s presence within the travel trade market and drives revenue growth across the airline’s network.  A Day in the Life: * Develop and execute a national B2B sales strategy focused on driving air-only revenue growth through the travel trade channel. * Drive adoption of Flair’s inventory through agency booking platforms such as Sirev. * Identify, prioritize, and grow high-value agency partnerships and consortia relationships across Canada. * Expand Flair’s presence in key origin markets, including Toronto (YYZ), Vancouver (YVR), Calgary (YYC), Edmonton (YEG), Montréal (YUL), and other priority gateways across Canada. * Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, host agencies, and consortia partners. * Lead commercial negotiations with key partners, including commission structures, overrides, and other commercial terms. * Increase agency engagement and share of wallet through targeted growth initiatives and disciplined relationship management. * Design and implement competitive commission structures for air-only sales. * Develop performance-based incentive programs that drive incremental sales and support revenue growth. * Monitor program effectiveness and adjust structures based on return on investment, performance, and market response. * Build, mentor, and lead a team of Sales Managers across Canada. * Establish clear KPIs, sales targets, and accountability frameworks across the agency sales organization. * Foster a performance-driven and entrepreneurial sales culture aligned with Flair’s low-cost business model. * Collaborate with Revenue Management and Network Planning to align pricing, inventory, and promotional strategies within the agency channel. * Ensure product accessibility, visibility, and usability across agency booking platforms and distribution channels. * Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and distribution strategies to identify risks and opportunities. * Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reporting, and strategic insights to executive leadership. * Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. What You Bring to the Role:  The preferred candidate should exemplify Flair's core values: honesty, efficiency, accountability, and respect, while demonstrating success in previous roles. Additionally, we are seeking individuals who possess: * Education: * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred. * Experience: * Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in airline, travel, or commercial sales leadership, with significant experience in distribution, agency sales, or partnership development. * Demonstrated success leading national B2B sales strategies that drive revenue growth, market expansion, and stronger partner engagement. * Proven experience building and managing strategic relationships with travel agencies, host agencies, consortia, and other trade distribution partners. * Strong experience negotiating commercial agreements, including commission structures, overrides, and performance-based incentive programs. * Significant experience working with travel agency distribution systems and booking platforms, including Sirev, Softvoyage, GDS, or similar tools. * Experience leading high-performing sales teams and establishing clear accountability, performance measures, and revenue targets. * Experience within a Canadian airline, travel, or tourism environment is strongly preferred. * Core Competencies: * Strong leadership capability, with the ability to build, inspire, and lead high-performing sales teams. * Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of airline economics, distribution strategy, and revenue drivers. * Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build credibility with internal and external stakeholders. * Strategic mindset, with the ability to translate business priorities into actionable sales and partnership strategies. * Results-oriented, with a strong focus on revenue growth, market expansion, and measurable commercial performance. * Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey strategy, performance, and opportunities clearly to senior leadership and partners. * Requirements: * Clear criminal record check and satisfactory employment references. * Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction.
