You’re encouraged to break it and create something better.  Overview The Director, AI Platform Services is responsible for establishing and operating the enterprise AI platform that enables the safe, scalable adoption of Microsoft Copilot and custom AI solutions built on Azure AI Foundry. This role leads the strategy, standards, and operating model for enterprise AI enablement—spanning M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Azurehosted agentic AI solutions—ensuring delivery with appropriate governance, security guardrails, and measurable business value. This position blends platform leadership, enablement, and cloud architecture, partnering closely with Security, Data & Analytics, Legal, and business stakeholders. The Director provides the platform capabilities, reference architectures, and guardrails required to build and operate AI solutions at scale, while functional teams retain policy, data, and business ownership.What You'll Do Define & maintain AI platform strategy across Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, and agent based AI solutions. Establish AI platform operating model (intake, prioritization, delivery patterns, lifecycle management, and support tiers). Lead AI Platform / Copilot & Foundry Center of Excellence (CoE) providing standards, templates, reusable components & community enablement. Serve as POC for AI platform services across IT, Security, Data, Legal, and business tech teams. Lead enablement strategy for Microsoft Copilot and Power Platform integration. Define Copilot use cases and adoption waves aligned to productivity and workflow outcomes. Define readiness criteria, persona based enablement, communications & learning programs. Provide adoption measurement and reporting (usage, satisfaction, quality indicators), with business value metrics. Establish Azure AI Foundry as the enterprise standard platform for building and operating custom AI and agent based solutions. Define & maintain reference architectures, including: model selection and lifecycle management, retrieval augmented generation (RAG) patterns, tool and function integration, agent orchestration and workflow patterns, observability, evaluation & release management. Provide “golden paths” for building AI solutions from development through production. Establish & operate platform guardrails for Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, and connectors. Partner cross-functionally to align on: environment strategy, DLP and connector controls, ALM standards & release processes. Define AI consumption requirements for data platforms (e.g., Fabric / OneLake, lakehouse, warehouses) and establish standards for AI access to enterprise data. Support knowledge indexing and content lifecycle patterns and implement security controls. Participate in incident response and risk review processes, financial planning and cost management meetings. What You'll Bring to the Table 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT, cloud platforms, or digital platforms. Strong background in Azure architecture, Microsoft 365, and platform governance. Experience enabling both SaaS AI (Copilot) and custom AI platforms (Azure AI Foundry or equivalent). Proven ability to lead cross functional initiatives without direct authority.
