This role owns the technical stewardship, governance, and lifecycle management of critical platforms that support hotel operations, guest experience, commercial functions, and internal business processes. The position ensures applications are standardized, supportable, well governed, and aligned to Auberge operating priorities while providing clear accountability for platform decisions, vendor performance, and enterprise readiness. This role also creates the operating discipline required to scale Auberge’s application environment as the portfolio expands and system complexity increases. Core Responsibilities: Enterprise Application Leadership. Provide enterprise technical leadership across Auberge’s core application portfolio, including hotel operating systems and selected home office business platforms. Primary platforms include: Oracle OPERA Cloud Spa and Activity Management Salesforce Automation / Delphi POS and Payment Platforms Guest Journey Systems Internal Enterprise Applications as assigned Own technical direction for: Configuration standards Platform architecture decisions Support boundaries Upgrade readiness Release coordination System Optimization & Continuous Improvement. Lead structured optimization of enterprise applications to ensure Auberge derives full operational value from each platform. Responsibilities include: Identify underused functionality across hotel and home office systems Drive improvement opportunities that simplify workflows and reduce manual work Partner with business owners to improve adoption of existing capabilities before introducing new tools Review recurring operational pain points and determine whether configuration, process, or training changes are required Ensure system enhancements improve consistency across properties rather than creating local variation Establish periodic platform health reviews to evaluate utilization, defects, and missed capabilities Governance and Platform Standards. Establish and maintain enterprise governance for applications across the portfolio. Includes: Application ownership matrix Technical standards Release and change discipline Permissions and role governance Documentation requirements Support model clarity Ensure each critical platform has clearly defined: Business owner Technical owner Escalation path Vendor accountability Vendor Leadership and Delivery Accountability. Lead technical relationships with software vendors, implementation partners, and system integrators. Responsibilities include: Technical escalation ownership Roadmap alignment Solution review Implementation quality oversight Participation in renewals, SOW review, and technical contract evaluation Ensure vendor commitments translate into operationally supportable outcomes. Enterprise Delivery Partnership. Partner with business leaders, project teams, and IT peers to support successful implementation and enhancement of business systems. Coordinate technical readiness for: New platform deployments Upgrades Integrations Enterprise enhancements Provide leadership on: Testing strategy Production readiness Deployment standards Operational Stability and Continuous Improvement. Monitor platform health across the enterprise and identify recurring issues, technical debt, and optimization opportunities. Lead structured review of: Repeat incidents Recurring defects Platform instability Support trends Unresolved risks Drive corrective actions that improve long-term platform reliability. Cross Functional Leadership Partner closely with: Operations Finance Talent & Culture Commercial teams Property leadership Cybersecurity / Infrastructure Translate business requirements into technical decisions that remain scalable and supportable. Executive Reporting and Planning Provide concise executive-level updates on: Application portfolio status Risks Major incidents Roadmap priorities Vendor performance Lifecycle investment needs Support annual planning, budgeting, and long-range technology roadmap discussions. Success Measures Application stability and uptime Reduction in repeat incidents Clear ownership across platforms Vendor performance improvement Timely release execution Reduced executive escalation Improved support consistency across hotels and home office Qualifications Required 8+ years leading enterprise or hospitality application environments Strong experience across hotel systems and enterprise business platforms Proven success managing platform governance, upgrades, and vendor relationships Strong understanding of luxury hospitality operating environments Experience leading cross-functional technology decisions Executive-level communication capability Strong organizational and prioritization discipline Preferred Luxury hospitality portfolio experience Multi-property environment experience Experience with enterprise integrations and data dependencies Project leadership in openings, transitions, or large deployments Familiarity with finance, HR, and commercial platforms Organizational Intent. This role serves as Auberge’s enterprise application accountability point, creating clear separation between: Platform ownership and Project delivery execution while strengthening long-term scalability across both hotels and home office operations. Additional Information This role offers a base salary range of $170,000-$190,000 plus a 25% annual incentive bonus, a comprehensive medical, dental, vision and voluntary benefits, 401k employer match, employer paid life insurance, employee assistance program and a team member hotel stay program.
