The Director, Applications Training is responsible for overseeing the training programs related to Epic software, ensuring that healthcare professionals within the organization are properly trained to use the system effectively and efficiently. Qualifications * Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in a relevant field of study. * Master's Degree -- HIGHLY PREFERRED * At least eight (8) years of EHR application development experience for a health provider, health plan or accountable care organization including: Epic clinical or financial decision support, medical economics, quality reporting, revenue cycle management, population health management or equivalent. * At least five (5) years of experience leading analyst. * Must have experience with Epic's application tools. * Epic certifications in relevant modules (e.g., ASAP, Clinical Documentations, Wisdom Ambulatory, etc.) EPIC Healthy Planet Certificate -- HIGHLY PREFERRED * Demonstrated ability to articulate goals, plan and implement processes to achieve those goals, identify/remediate risks, and meet deadlines. * Advanced interpersonal (e.g., mediating, mentoring, teaching) skills required to serve stakeholders effectively. * Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work independently, and to exercise independent judgment in developing complex techniques or programs in a dynamic environment. * Skilled in navigating complex organizational relationships, with a strong record of accomplishment of driving organizational cultural change. Politically astute; understands dynamics of relationships and will remain balanced and objective. * Effective and highly credible working relations with individuals at all levels of the organization, from entry-level to the medical staff. * A tenacious drive for results, utilizing sound project management, organizational, information systems and problem-solving skills. * A natural ability to effectively work with others in ways that fosters personal and professional ownership.
