Job Summary: The Director of Athletic Security and Operations coordinates, administers, and manages the construction, renovation, maintenance, and security of the athletic facilities and the implementation of the Athletics Facilities Master Plan. Serves as Project Manager in coordinating the management services for construction, remodeling, and renovations of athletic facilities.
Additional Department Summary: Organizes and supervises security management efforts for the Athletics Department. Serves as the primary contact for managing and overseeing security operations for all events and facilities under Athletics management. Provides guidance, training, and supervision to event staff and student employees. Manages designated facilities.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of athletic facilities and/or athletic operations experience; OR master’s degree and four (4) years of athletic facilities and/or athletic operations experience.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver’s license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree.
