Role and Responsibilities:

As a Director of Audit, you will play a pivotal role in leading the audit function, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic leadership and direction to the audit department.
  • Overseeing complex audit engagements and ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
  • Reviewing and signing off on audit reports, financial statements, and other client deliverables.
  • Managing client relationships at the executive level and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Driving business development initiatives, including identifying new opportunities and expanding service offerings.
  • Ensuring compliance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and Mazars Group policies.
  • Leading and mentoring managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Contributing to internal firm initiatives such as recruitment, training, and quality assurance.
  • Representing the firm in professional forums and industry events.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a reputable university; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Qualified accountant (CPA or equivalent)
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in a public accounting firm, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in IFRS, PSAK, and consolidation.
  • Proven track record in managing large audit portfolios and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong business acumen and experience in client relationship management and business development.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and people development skills.
  • Open-minded, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a multicultural and fast-paced environment.
