We’re looking for a Director, Audit Risk and Compliance Services to join us in London or Bradford, United Kingdom The Director, Audit Risk and Compliance Services provides leadership and strategic direction for Liberty Blume’s ARC department within Blume Business Solutions (BBS). The Director will ensure a quality customer service, focused delivery of Audit, Risk and Compliance services while leading the strategy for expansion into internal and external markets. The purpose of this role is to provide: Leadership over the creation and execution of a strategic vision for Liberty Blume’s ARC function to build a scalable, tech-enabled business, supporting a clear growth plan A team of talented, motivated ARC practitioners to support delivery of internal audit, risk and compliance services Proactive and quality customer service to ensure existing customers’ expectations are exceeded and new customers immediately see value Optimal efficiency of service, leveraging technology and automation Deep domain expertise to not only underpin the credibility of services but also to ensure there is a platform for future growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering ARC services (currently focused on internal audit, financial controls compliance and e-learning content development) to existing customers whilst developing and taking to market new products and scalable services to drive growth. This role will create a positive and supportive culture that encourages cross-functional collaboration, individual development, knowledge transfer and succession. The Director will be responsible for maintaining key relationships and ensuring consistent dialogue with Liberty Global’s central ARC function, a key stakeholder. What will you be doing? The Director of ARC will lead the relevant service offerings across Blume and will: Develop the strategy for growing the Audit Risk & Compliance function Identify new customer opportunities through cross and upsell from existing clients of Blume and the federation of companies associated with Liberty Global Identify new customer opportunities through working with business development and knowledge of the market in external and third party opportunities Responsible for delivering IA and SOX testing under the guidance and supervision of Liberty Global Lead the productions of E-Learning where required or requested Responsible for delivery of ARC services for new customers as contractually defined Ensure all ARC activity complies with relevant customer standards Leads weekly delivery status reviews to Liberty Global and other customer stakeholders Lead a team of high quality and qualified Audit Risk & Compliance professionals ensuring an appropriate talent strategy is in place Manage all financial aspects of the ARC function, including budget setting and monthly monitoring. Monitor, track and ensure compliance with contractual SLAs to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables as well as other relevant factors Implement areas of technology that will enhance efficiency, effectiveness and insight for Internal Audit Provide regular updates to the VP of LG’s Audit Risk & Compliance and equivalent stakeholders in other customers sharing risks, trends and any outcomes from ongoing audits. Act as the principal liaison between Blume ARC and the Liberty Global VP & MD of ARC. We tend to look for people with: Degree in accounting, finance, or business administration; professional certifications (CPA, ACA, CIA, CIPM, CISA) preferred. Strong background in auditing and accounting, including Sarbanes-Oxley leadership and Big Four or equivalent experience in practice development and business growth. Proven ability to lead complex, multi-jurisdictional engagements and deliver technology/AI solutions in audit, risk, and compliance. Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and change management skills with a results-driven, entrepreneurial mindset. Skilled at influencing senior stakeholders, building relationships, and working collaboratively across functions. Excellent communication skills and ability to resolve complex issues effectively. Passion for technology, innovation, and process automation; telecoms experience desirable but not essential. Inspires and develops high-performing teams; flexible, hands-on, and proactive attitude.
