POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Aviation Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business operations and IT within the aviation and aerospace industry. This individual will be responsible for assessing the needs of various departments, translating business requirements into actionable improvements, and driving efficiency through technology-driven solutions. This role is NOT a data scientist. It is not an IT role, nor is it behind a computer creating charts or dashboards. The ideal candidate will be involved across departments, asking questions about systems and processes and driving change and optimization with the assets on hand.
As a key liaison between business units and IT, this role will enhance collaboration, streamline processes, and ensure technological initiatives align with organizational goals. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in business analysis, IT strategy, or process improvement within aviation or aerospace. (Dealbreaker/ Must Have)
• Technical & Analytical Expertise:
• Strong understanding of aviation and aerospace operations, supply chain, and data management.
• Experience in enterprise resource planning (ERP), workflow automation, and business intelligence tools.
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into strategic action plans.
• Leadership & Communication:
• Proven ability to collaborate with executives, IT leaders, and operational teams.
