Job Description
The Bank & Issuing Risk Solutions team, a core product team within Visa’s Risk and Identity Solutions (RaIS) organization, is committed to empowering banks and issuers in the fight against fraud. We leverage our expertise within the dynamic payments ecosystem to develop and deliver cutting-edge fraud risk solutions. Our mission is to provide tangible, value-added services that strengthen our clients’ security posture and enhance their ability to confidently navigate the evolving landscape of financial crime, protect their portfolios, and enhance the efficiency of their operations.
The Director, Bank & Issuing Risk Solutions, will be responsible for evaluating, defining, and executing solutions that help financial institutions detect, prevent, and manage fraud operations. This strategic, cross-functional leader will focus on identifying emerging market needs within the bank and issuing space, with a particular focus on anti-money laundering (AML) and money movement, translating market insights into compelling solutions that deliver significant value to our customers and drive Visa Value-added Services growth. Working closely with regional product teams and technology to quickly convert creative ideas into working prototypes, leveraging existing Visa solutions and/or external capabilities to test and validate product concepts.
A successful candidate will be a highly adaptable leader, comfortable navigating new territory and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes in ambiguous situations. They must possess the ability to quickly forge relationships across all levels, identify critical courses of action, and effectively motivate diverse stakeholders to align and execute on shared objectives. This product role offers a wide range of initiatives – from shaping product strategy considering regulatory environments to launching risk solutions for adjacent Visa products such as Visa Direct – so the ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about and comfortable with tackling diverse topics, often simultaneously.
