Syntiant Corp., a leader in the high-growth AI software and semiconductor solutions space, has entered into an agreement to acquire a large, multi-national sensor business with global revenues in excess of $250 million per year, and is looking for an experienced and talented Director of Business Applications to take on critical role with expansive responsibilities and play a leading role in enhancing the IT function in a growing organization.
Director of Business Applications will be responsible for leading the team in optimizing and maximizing the value of our Oracle EBS and enterprise applications portfolio. This position will possess in-depth knowledge of Oracle products and a proven track record of delivering successful application implementations, upgrades, and integrations. The role will be a visionary leader with a strong understanding of business needs and a passion for leveraging technology to drive operational efficiency and achieve strategic objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise application management, with a strong focus on Oracle applications (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud Applications).
- Proven experience in leading successful enterprise application implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle architecture, functionality, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of business process analysis and optimization.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into technological solutions.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise application strategy aligned with overall business goals.
- Lead the enterprise applications team in managing the full lifecycle of Oracle applications, including implementations, upgrades, customizations, integrations, and ongoing support.
- Partner with key business stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and develop solutions leveraging Oracle applications.
- Oversee the development and implementation of application security protocols and user access controls.
- Manage vendor relationships with Oracle and other related technology providers.
- Establish and maintain application performance metrics and reporting processes.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of enterprise application specialists.
- Recruit, hire, and develop top talent within the enterprise applications team.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in enterprise applications and cloud technologies.
- Develop and manage the enterprise application budget.
- Provide regular reports to the CIO on the performance, health, and roadmap for enterprise applications.
