JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an exceptional Director of Business Development to lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive business development strategy. This individual will play a key role in driving sales, increasing revenue, expanding market reach, and achieving financial objectives.
The ideal candidate will excel at building strong relationships, mentoring team members, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Strong listening skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to provide constructive feedback to internal teams are essential qualities. This role will also involve contributing to process refinement and platform enhancements based on user feedback as we continue onboarding both consumers and vendors.
Following the success of our product at the Ilmac Conference in Switzerland, the Director will take a leading role in preparing us for our European market launch in early fall 2025.

REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS in related field; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of business development experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of overall departmental function
  • People management and leadership skills
  • Strong data & analytical skills
  • Great presentation skills
Responsibilities
  • Develops a wide network of contacts to keep informed about current and future industry/market actions
  • Researches and analyzes the business environment, competitors, and consumers to develop ideas for new products and services, pricing, and business models.
  • Directs financial feasibility studies, proposal development, and negotiations for new business opportunities.
  • Collaborates with marketing, sales, product development, and other stakeholders to support business development plans
  • Identifies, investigates, and evaluates acquisitions, licensing opportunities and strategic business alliances in line with the company’s long term goals
  • Develop & manage key relationships with key customers.
