Job Description Job Purpose ICE Global Network offers high quality content, delivery and execution services through an ultra-secure, highly resilient network. An important backbone for financial and commodity market information flow, it connects the global market community to the broadest ranges of data sources - including proprietary and third-party content - and trading venues in a safe, efficient manner. ICE Data Services are looking for an innovative and dynamic subject matter expert and leader to drive business development for ICE Global Network across Asia Pacific. The Business Development Director will partner with multiple global and regional internal stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Development and Marketing from ICE Data Services and ICE Exchanges) and external stakeholders (e.g. clients, prospects, support and partners) to drive growth of ICE Global Network Business in Asia Pacific. Responsibilities Solid technical understanding of network solutions and the trading strategies that they can support Be a subject matter expert in terms of the ICE Global Network business and landscape in Asia Pacific Work closely with the sales and account management teams to grow business and develop cross selling deals among ICE services Help to develop go to market strategies for ICE Global Network in Asia Pacific Contribute to new product development and regional strategy for ICE Global Network Identifying competitive threats that could cause potential risk to our business Keep abreast of regulatory changes that may benefit or damage our business Be the face of ICE Data Services for Global Network by regularly engaging with clients, prospects, speaking at events and social media Will need to travel across the region on a regular basis Knowledge and Experience University Degree in a Financial Discipline 5-10 years prior Experience with a network/hosting provider, information service provider or financial institution Excellent knowledge of network solutions and the trading strategies that they can support in the Asia Pacific region Comprehension of global financial concepts allows the individual to speak “the same language” as the clients PC skills to include working knowledge of MS Windows Office, especially excel, word and PowerPoint Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills Excellent work ethic Excellent presentation skills Strong technical skills Ability to work in a team environment or independently where required
