Precision for Medicine is hiring a Director, Business Development who will be responsible for identifying and closing significant business opportunities for Precision Bioservices.
Responsibilities:
- Identifies opportunities for all Bioservices products and services, including specialty lab services (biomarker assay development, validation and clinical sample testing), and central lab services (kitting, sample processing, biobanking and storage.) Both heavily regulated assays and exploratory correlative analyses will fall under position’s remit.
- Develops and enhances client relationships to support customer retention and growth
- Establishes a strong working relationship with Marketing, Assay Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Lab Operations and Management
- Qualifies leads as received
- Develops a strong understanding of our products and spec sheets to support our proposal team in crafting a proposal for clients
- Serve as internal advocate for client, as necessary, and depending on business needs, for budget negotiations
- Closes new business and expands existing business relationships
- Attend conferences, trade shows and meetings as required
- Maintain contacts and opportunities using SalesForce.com
- Other responsibilities as assigned
