Job Description
The Business Operations and Strategy (BizOps) team is a cross-functional group that drives strategic initiatives, optimizes business and sales operations, and manages payment ecosystems performance. They formulate strategies, improve processes, analyze data for insights, and spearheads initiatives to align the company’s objectives with execution. They also develop go-to-market strategies, set sales goals, and work with stakeholders across the organization. The BizOps team serves as a vital link between the executive vision and operational execution, playing a significant role in the company’s growth and success.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex initiatives, be self-motivated and highly organized, and foster positive internal and external relationships. He/she will be sensitive to constantly changing landscape and highly skilled at navigating among often conflicting interests.

  • Identify improvements and suggest solutions for the operations system and workflow and communicating these to the stakeholders
  • Implementing strategic changes across people, process, and system through projects aimed at operational excellence and enhancing customer experience.
  • Managing all ecosystem related operational projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of strategic changes.
  • Crafting and maintaining project plans that outline operational requirements, budget, deliverables, timescales, dependencies, and risks.
  • Create clarity and transparency for the ecosystem players
  • Negotiate and establish operations rules and communication protocols
  • Set up regular performance reporting
  • Drive creation of playbooks for critical operations scenario

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong executive presence, excellent interpersonal skills, able to clearly communicate complex project requirements, achieve stakeholder buy-in, and keep stakeholders updated on project progress.
  • Experience engaging, negotiating with and managing clients.
  • Strength in building partnerships, working collaboratively in a matrix with minimal guidance, proven influencing skills
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, effective and confident presentation skills.
  • Ability to negotiate priorities across organizations as required, to plan and prioritize multiple tasks effectively, and to independently drive projects through to completion
  • Payment domain or FinTech experience is a major plus
  • Be adept at diagnosing complex issues into clear problem statements, using data to confirm the scope and ensure the team is consistently approaching the most valuable problems to solve.
  • Have an optimization mentality, continually tuning team processes and systems to deliver efficient and seamless workflows.
  • Be a self-starter who takes accountability for getting things done.
  • Excellent domain of Spanish and Englis

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 6+ years of experience
  • Results orientation, having a clear, positive direct impact on business performance.
  • Enthusiastic support of the organization and influence others to commit to its mission and vision
  • Ability to make timely decisions, balancing analysis with decisivenes

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a senior relationship and operations leader to design, implement, and maintain high-performance operations within the regional payment ecosystem. This role will be responsible for reviewing the current relationships and operational set up between multiple players within the regional payment ecosystem.
This role will be critical in delivering an operating model tuned to the needs of the individual players, while also balancing against business priorities and the cost structure of the YellowPepper organization. The role is accountable for timely and high-quality execution and delivery from original concept through final implementation.
A key component of this role involves crafting new commercial opportunities. The successful candidate will be expected to identify and exploit potential areas for growth and profitability, leveraging their understanding of the market and our unique capabilities. They will develop strategic partnerships and drive the launch of new initiatives, contributing directly to our bottom line.
Internally, it will require coordination of a wide range of workstreams including Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, Operations, Implementation, Client Service, and Product. The successful candidate will need to work cross-functionally, aligning these diverse teams towards our common goals.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
