Description:
Salary: The salary range for this position is CAD $59.56/Hr. - CAD $85.62/Hr.
Summary:
Within the context of a client and family centred model of care and, in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values, and strategic directions of Providence Health Care, the position promotes a safe, respectful, and civil working environment for patients, residents, families, visitors and staff.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Projects, Planning and Facilities Management, the Director is accountable for providing operational leadership to Providence Health Care’s Clinical Support & Research Centre (CSRC) including management of CSRC leases and day-to-day operations of the building, ensuring a best-in-class level of service delivery to building occupants. The Director is the primary liaison for CSRC tenants, researchers, and staff.
The Director is also accountable for the overall strategic management of Providence Health Care’s extensive lease portfolio including responsibilities such as strategic planning, financial management, lease negotiations/renewals/compliance and conflict resolution.
What You Bring:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Master’s Degree or equivalent plus ten (10) years recent related experience, which includes six (6) years of senior management in Real Estate and leadership roles in a large multi-site organization with responsibilities for the planning and development of capital and strategic plans or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proven senior facility project management expertise including the ability to manage in areas such as legal contracts, real estate/market transactions, and property management.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of appropriate legislation, by-laws and relevant laws and local/provincial/national standards.
- Demonstrated leadership practices that are clear, caring, and courageous and create the conditions for people to succeed.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence internal and external constituents at all levels.
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen.
- Demonstrated negotiating skills with experience in negotiating and structuring complex transactions.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends and emerging opportunities.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and balance work.
- Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
